Manifesto Backgrounds

I wanted something better then just a blank wall or piece of foam core to hang my manifesto drawings on. Sam Norgard told me that “anything that is not the wall is art.” I have to agree and so I wanted to make the hanging mechanisms for my drawings into art. I had a whole bunch of stencils laser cut using chipboard. I then used a matte metallic gold, gloss ivory, satin white, clear matte, and metallic gold spray paint. Layering using different stencils to make each board. I used each of the stencils more then once so that there are correlations between multiple panels. I think they look great and can’t wait to get them all measured out for mounting the manifesto drawings and hanging in the gallery.
