Summer Reading List

Read some really great books this summer and have made it to number 29 on my year-long reading challenge! Some of the most memorable were Station Eleven for giving me nightmares and horrible thoughts for pretty much the entire summer. If you want to read a super creepy, too close to reality, post apocalyptic novel I highly recommend it. Also The Destiny of The Republic was amazing. I read it on a whim and ended up loving it. A non-fiction story about President Garfield that makes you fall in love and then breaks your heart. If you don’t know about Garfield (which I’m pretty sure you don’t) you should definitely read this one. Now I’m back to the grind and back in school so carving out time for reading will be much more difficult but I’ll do my best and hopefully find a few more excellent reads.
